There is no doubt thatAston Martin made an impression with this surprise victory. Mucke, Charouz and Enge won while the other car entered by the brand enjoyed a place on the podium for a long time, thus confirming the competitiveness of its new LMP1.

The biggest surprise for the team came from the reliability of the machine. The car was rarely driven during the winter and did not encounter any particular problems during the race. Thus, all scheduled pit stops went perfectly. Reliability and competitiveness, this is an explosive cocktail two months before a very important meeting in Sarthe for the brand.
