Ruben Barrichello will not compete in the ELMS with Racing Team Nederland. The Brazilian will only drive the Dallara LMP2 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Barrichello will not do the ELMS with Racing Team Nederland

If Racing Team Nederland had initially planned to run Rubens Barrichello alongside Jan Lammers in ELMS, the record holder for Grand Prix starts will ultimately only compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans June 17 and 18.

It was the boss-driver Frits van Eerd who confirmed the information to AUTOhebdo. The Dutchman will therefore play with his compatriot Jan Lammers.

Racing Team Nederland will field a Dallara LMP2 even though the new Dutch structure has two chassis. Ruben Barrichello was able to discover the Italian prototype during a test session organized in Sebring (Florida).
