Brundle remains with United Autosports in 2020

Alex Brundle will continue to defend the interests of United Autosports in ELMS by being the first driver confirmed on an Oreca 07 for the 2020 season. The son of Martin Brundle, champion of the LMP3 category in 2016, evolved in WEC before returning to the European level. The 29-year-old Briton finished the last season in 12th place.

“We had great results in 2019 and I’m excited to continue our relationship. I am fully focused on winter testing to prepare for my next year,” commented Alex Brundle.

The 29-year-old Briton is also expected to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the 7th time if the car is accepted.

“I am delighted that we reached an agreement with Alex just after the end of the season, added team owner Richard Dean. We have celebrated some great successes together and Alex remains as fast and reliable behind the wheel as ever. We have a lot of work to do this winter as it will be our first full season with Oreca in LMP2. I am sure that Alex's pace and experience will be useful for us to develop the car and achieve our goals. »

Alex Brundle notably spent an entire season in the WEC on the Oreca 07 with Jackie Chan DC Racing.
