Christian England back behind the wheel

Christian England returned to the wheel this Wednesday for the first time since his crash during the final of theELMS in Portimao (Portugal) last October. The United Autosports resident suffered multiple fractures to his elbow, leg and foot following an accident at the start when his Ligier JS P3 was hit several times by competitors in the peloton.

“It’s really fantastic to be able to get back behind the wheel of this magnificent car, he commented after undergoing two major operations. I quickly regained my bearings and I am now impatient to return to competition. I sincerely thank everyone who helped me after the accident. I stayed in touch with the medical staff who strongly supported me during these difficult times. »

Christian England should resume competition in the LMP3 category of the ELMS from mid-July with the official tests and the 4h of Castellet on the Paul-Ricard circuit (Var).
