Cool Racing adds LMP3 to its ELMS program

The Michelin vice-champion Le Mans Cup is entitled to a promotion. Last year, Nicolas Maulini and Edouard Cauhaupé finished second in the base Le Mans pyramid series driving a Ligier JSP3.

Both move to the next level, theELMS, in a different car. Cauhaupé was hired by the ogre United Autosports, while Nicolas Maulini continues with Cool Racing. Indeed, the team led by Nicolas lapierre and Alexandre Coigny takes the step towards the top series of the LM P3 category for the first time.

«The LM P3 program in ELMS is a new challenge for COOL Racing and this championship is always hotly contested, commented Nicolas Lapierre. We are happy to have Nicolas Maulini as our bronze driver and he will be a force because he is very fast and reliable. We are very excited to enter a Ligier JS P320 and can't wait for the Prologue in April. We will announce the full crew soon and we have big ambitions for this season. »

Cool Racing will also field an Oreca 07 LM P2 driven by Nicolas Lapierre, Alexandre Coigny and Antonin Borga.
