Postponed, the 4 Hours of Le Castellet arrives on June 5 and 6

Following the ACO's announcement regarding the date of 24 Hours of Le Mans 2021, which will now take place on August 21 and 22, the 4 Hours of Le Castellet will take place from June 4 to 6.

Initially scheduled for August 27 to 29, that is to say one week after the new date of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the French round of the European Le Mans Series will now be the 3rd race on the 2021 calendar, placed between the events of Red Bull Ring (May 14-16) and Monza (July 9-11).

This change should satisfy the competitors, since the teams invited to Le Mans will have two additional races to prepare for the 24 Hours of Le Mans by keeping an interval of three weeks between each round.

Calendar ELMS 2021 revised:

April 12-13 – Official Tests – Barcelona – ESP

April 16-18 – 4 Hours of Barcelona – ESP

May 14-16 – 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring – AUT

June 4-6 – 4 Hours of Le Castellet – FRA

July 9-11 – 4 Hours of Monza – ITA

September 17-19 – 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps -BEL

October 22-24 – 4 Hours of Portimão – PRT
