ELMS – 45 crews at season opener at Paul-Ricard

The first round of the Europeans Le Mans Series organized on the Paul-Ricard track in Var on April 15 will pit 45 cars against each other according to the entry list published this Wednesday by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest.

The LM P2 category will be the largest with 19 prototypes and several leading drivers registered. In the Oreca clan, Nicolas lapierre will thus be lined up alongside Henrik Hedman and Ben Hanley on the car operated by the DragonSpeed ​​structure.

Racing Engineering will be able to count on Norman Nato and Olivier Pla, associated with Paul Petit, when the two prototypes present under the G-Drive banner will be entrusted to the trios Rusinov – Imperatori – Pizzitola and Gutiérrez – Allen – Guibbert. TDS Racing will be there with a crew made up of Loïc duval – François Perrodo – Matthieu Vaxivière.

Duqueine Engineering will evolve with a trio to watch with Pierre Ragues – Nelson Panciatici – Nicolas Jamin. Pierre Thiriet and André negrao will evolve on their side on theAlpine A470 – Signatech Alpine.

At Ligier, United Autosports will be among the favorites, with a Bruno Senna – Phil Hanson tandem on one side and a trio of Sadeleer – Owen – Boyd on the other. SMP Racing, AVF, Villorba Corse and High Class Racing will operate a Dallara P217.

In LM P3, Ligier JS P3s will once again be in the majority with 14 examples out of the 18 prototypes listed. Eight GTEs will complete the grid, Raymond Narac, boss ofIMSA Performance, étant engagé sur la Porsche 911 RSR – Ebimotors avec Fabio Babini et Riccardo Pera.
