ELMS / ALMS – Gommendy leaves Thiriet by TDS Racing for Eurasia

Tristan Gommendy has announced that he is leaving Thiriet by TDS Racing immediately. The 2003 French champion of F3 who had been playing for two years within the French team, decided to rjoin Eurasia Motorsport to compete in the Asian Le Mans TV Shows whose new season will begin on October 11 in Fuji (Japan).

“I have really experienced some strong moments within this structure, notably at the 24 2014 Hours of Le Mans where we fought for victory until the last minutes or again in 2015 when I led the race. However, the 2015 season is shortened and I am already focusing on the next one. I will therefore not be in Estoril on October 18 (at the season finale of theELMS). ", announced Tristan Gommendy.

The 36-year-old French pilot will join the Hong Konger Williams Lok and the Korean Tack Sung Kim on the Oreca 03 entered by the Philippine team. His objective is to manage to join the peloton of WEC.
