ELMS – DragonSpeed dominates Imola qualifying
After the unchallenged domination of the Ligier JS P2 of the Panis-Barthez Compétition in free practice, the Oreca 05s were the fastest in qualifying at Imola for the second meeting of the European Le Mans Series.
The copy of the DragonSpeed, entrusted to the trio Stone – Hedman – Hanley, was the fastest on the Italian track with a best lap completed in 1'33″780, enough to beat the Oreca 35 of Thiriet by TDS Racing of Thiriet – Beche – Hirakawa and the Ligier by 05 thousandths JS P2 of the Panis-Barthez Competition, classified in the same time.
Pole position in LM P3 went to the No. 3 United Autosports Ligier JS P3 of Petterson – Bell – Boyd ahead of the Eurointernational sister cars of Mondini – Roda – Jacobini and the second United Autosports JS P3 of Brundle – Guasch – England.
La Porsche 911 RSR n°77 du Proton Competition a dominé la séance en GTE et s’élancera devant la Ferrari 458 Italia from JMW Motorsport and the second 911 from Proton Competition. The 4 Hours of Imola will start tomorrow at 14 p.m.
