ELMS – DragonSpeed ​​on pole at Silverstone

Ben Hanley was fastest during qualifyingELMS in Silverstone (Great Britain). The local driver completed a lap in 1'44''040 in the Dragonspeed Oreca 07, ahead of the United Autosports Ligier JS P0 driven by Filipe Albuquerque by almost 3"217.

Enzo Guibbert placed the first Oreca 07 of Graff Racing in 3rd place, still finishing more than a second behind the reference mark. The sister car, driven by Richard Bradley, was the source of a red flag and therefore finished behind the LMP3s. Despite going off the track, Ryo Hirakawa was able to place the second Oreca 07 from Dragonspeed – fielded under the name G-Drive Racing – on the 2nd row. Andrea Pizziola completed the top five in the Algarve Pro Racing Ligier JS P217.

Mikkel Jensen delivers AT Racing's first LMP3 pole of the season by setting a time of 1'53''665 in the no.3 Ligier JS P9 in his final attempt. The Dane thus deprived Sean Rayhall, United Autosports driver, of first position in the category by more than a tenth. United Autosports' sister car, the No. 3 driven by Wayne Boyd, followed by a half-second.

Simon Gachet is last, less than a second behind, in the No. 16 of Panis-Barthez Compétition. Yann Ehrlacher placed the first Norma M30, that of M. Racing YMR, in 6th place in the category behind the Ligier of Alexandre Cougnaud also belonging to Yvan Muller's structure.

Aston Martin leader of the GTE

The Aston Martins ruled the GTE. Nicki Thiim took pole in the category with a time of 1'58''269 at the wheel of the #90 TF Sport Vantage, ahead of the #0 Beechdean AMR driven by Ross Gunn by 2"99.
