ELMS – Dragonspeed on the front row at the 4h of Spa

The Oreca 07s were in the spotlight during qualifying for the 4 Hours of Spa. Ben Hanley took pole in the No. 21 with a lap of the Belgian circuit completed in 2’02”457. The Gold driver of the crew was almost four tenths ahead of the sister car in G-Drive Racing colors led by Ryo Hirakawa who completed the first row. Graff Racing completed the top three with the No. 39 of Enzo Guibbert.

United Autosports saved the honor for Ligier with fourth place taken by Filipe Albuquerque who still finished almost nine tenths behind the benchmark and ahead of the No. 07 Graff Oreca 40 of Richard Bradley. Andrea Pizzitola placed the #25 Algarve Pro Racing Ligier sixth ahead of the #23 Panis Barthez Competition of Nathanaël Berthon and the #28 Idec Sport Racing of Paul-Loup Chatin.

The Dallara P217s are behind, completing the last places in the category. The No. 27 SMP Racing of Egor Orudzhev, victorious during the last round at Paul-Ricard (Var), is best placed in ninth position while it is almost two seconds behind the benchmark.

Mikkel Jensen took pole in LMP3. The driver of the #3 AT Racing Ligier JS P9 clocked a time of 2'13''634, more than seven tenths ahead of the #3 and the #2 United Autosports of Wayne Boyd and Sean Rayhall leads the Championship.
