Dragonspeed's Oreca 07s dominated qualifying for the 4 Hours of the Red Bull Ring. Léo Roussel took pole in the No. 22 in the colors of G-Drive Racing.

ELMS – G-Drive and Dragonspeed above in qualifying

Qualifying for the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring (Austria) offered an internal duel within Dragonspeed. Léo Roussel took pole at the wheel of the No. 07 G-Drive Racing Oreca 22 with a lap completed in 1'18''435. The fight for first place on the grid was close against the #22 sister car of Nicolas lapierre which failed at 5 thousandths.

United Autosports placed the first Ligier JS P217 in third place, Filipe Albuquerque finishing 4 tenths from pole ahead of that of Panis-Barthez Compétition led by Nathanaël Berthon who failed by more than a second.

SMP Racing was responsible for placing the first Dallara P217 in the top five with rookie Egor Orudzhev, like his teammate Matevos Isaakyan, from the World Series Formula V8 3.5.

The result is mixed for Graff Racing. If the No. 07 Oreca 40 entrusted to Gustavo Yacaman ranked 6th, Enzo Guibbert's sister car No. 39 finished last in the category after the cancellation of several times.

 

 

 

 

Duqueine and Norma score in LM P3

The LM P3 qualifying session was interrupted by the loss of a wheel on the No. 3 6 Racing Ligier JS P360 which was driven by Ross Kaiser.

David Droux snatched pole in LM P3 at the wheel of the Duqueine Engineering Norma M30 with a time of 1'25''870 signed as he took the checkered flag. Mikkel Jensen was the closest with the Ligier JS P3 of the No. 9 AT Racing, finishing two tenths behind. M. Racing – YMR completes the top three in the category with the Norma M30 led by Yann Ehrlacher who finished 4 tenths behind.

Wayne Boyd set the 4th fastest time in the #3 United Autosports Ligier that crashed this morning during FP2. The Panis Barthez Compétition completed the top five in the category thanks to Simon Gachet.

Spirit at the party in GTE

Spirit of Race dominated the GTE debates. Andrea Bertolini placed the Ferrari 488 GTE n°51 on pole in the category with a time of 1'28''297, beating Matt Griffin's sister car by almost two tenths.

Matteo Cairoli a placé la Porsche 911 RSR de Proton Competition au troisième rang à 3 dixièmes de la référence en précédant la Ferrari JMW Motorsport emmenée par Jonny Cocker. Les Aston Martin TF Sport and Beechdean AMR respectively entrusted to Nicki Thiim and Darren Turner completed the list more than half a second from pole. The marshals had to cancel several times due to exceeding the track limits.
