ELMS – Graff Racing unveils its crews

Graff Racing has confirmed five of the six drivers who will drive its Oreca 07s in ELMS after completing the shakedown of his first LMP2.

The first crew does not create any surprises since it will be made up of Éric Trouillet, Paul Petit and Enzo Guibbert who finished vice-champions of the LMP3 category in 2016 with the French team.

The second Oreca 07 will be entrusted to Franck Matelli, James Allen and a final driver to be confirmed. The 25-year-old Corsican went through the karting and car before competing in the VdeV Endurance Series at Magny-Cours (Nièvre) on a Ligier JS P3 from the Panis-Barthez Compétition. As for the 20-year-old Australian, he will discover prototype competition after having played in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 with JD Motorsport.

“We are thrilled to be able to announce our drivers so early, rejoiced Pascal Rauturier, the team manager of Graff Racing. By moving one of our LM P3 crews to LM P2, we are playing the sector card. The three are ready to move to the next level. Youth will also be at the center of the second crew. We will now be able to begin our tests in order to be as sharp as possible for this season which promises to be exciting. »

Graff Racing also hopes to return to 24 Hours of Le Mans after submitting two applications to the Selection Committee. His last participation in the Sarthe event dates back 24 years when he entered a Spice SE89C.
