ELMS – The championship refines its organization

With 29 cars entered for the 2013 season?ELMS, the European championship is definitely recovering from a difficult 2012. This enthusiasm around the competition is due in particular to the new rules put in place. The format of the races was first reduced to 3 Hours, instead of 6 last year.
There is also the decision to organize the various meetings in cooperation with other important competitions.

The calendar is organized as follows: Silverstone in England, in parallel with WEC (April 12/13), Imola in Italy with the GT Tour (May 17/18), Red Bull Ring in Austria (July 19/20), Hungaroring in Hungary (September 13/14) and Paul Ricard in France (September 27/28), the latter three races being organized in association with the World Series by Renault. Finally, the arrival of the GTC category (in addition to P2, PC and GTE) which accepts GT3s has also helped to revive interest in European competition.
