ELMS – Le Thiriet by TDS Racing still above at Castellet

Thiriet by TDS Racing won its third consecutive victory at the end of the 4 Hours of Castellet (Var) with the Oreca 05 of Pierre Thiriet, Mathias Beche and Mike conway who replaced Ryo Hirakawa retained in Super GT to compete the Suzuka 1000km.

Starting from pole, Mike Conway retained the advantage and let his teammates maintain the lead. The #2 LMP46 won one lap ahead of the SMP Racing BR01 of Stefano Coletti, Andreas Wirth and Julian Leal, who moved up well into the peloton. The podium is completed by the Dragonspeed Oreca 05 driven by Nicolas lapierre, Henrik Hedman and Ben Hanley.

After the accident which caused major damage following Pu Jun Jin going off the track and unavailable for the race while being hospitalized, Nico Pieter and Tristan Gommendy managed to place Eurasia Motorsport's Oreca 05 in fourth place.

The G-Drive Racing Ligier JS P2 of Vander Garde-Tincknell-Dolan completes the top five. The crew ceded control of the Championship to Thiriet-Beche and Thiriet by TDS Racing by nine points, with Ryo Hirakawa not scoring any points in this round due to his absence.

Graff Racing ended United Autosports' winning streak in LMP3 by winning with the #9 of Paul Petit, Éric Trouillet and Enzo Guibbert. In GTE, JMW Motorsport returned to success thanks to the victory of Rory Butcher, Andrea Bertolini and Rob Smith in the Ferrari 458 n°66.
