ELMS – Pla heads towards Racing Engineering

Olivier Pla should return in ELMS this season by being entered in the Oreca 07 entered by Racing Engineering. The Hispanic team, which has won twice in the GP2 Series, should benefit from the experience of the 2009 champion of Le Mans Series which now defends the colors of ESM in the NAEC races of theIMSA.

Racing Engineering has not yet confirmed Olivier Pla's presence, but it would be his first full-time ELMS commitment since 2016 when the 36-year-old Frenchman was registered with Krohn Racing. The French driver returned to the European paddock last year for a few rounds with IDEC Sport Racing and he will continue to compete in the WEC on a Chip Ganassi Ford GT.

Only Norman Nato has so far been confirmed, but Paul Petit should complete the crew after having played with Graff Racing in LMP3.
