ELMS – RML Group launches with a Ligier JSP3

RML Group will make its return in 2017 by entering a Ligier JSP3 in ELMS. The British team, which has formed a partnership with Mectech Motorsport, will field Bradley Smith and Evgeny Klyucharev in the LMP3 with the desire to enter several cars in the Prototype Cup and the European Endurance Championship. The two confirmed drivers will test the prototype in the coming weeks.

“We are convinced that the LMP3 category will be very competitive next year. The level of the crew will be decisive for our performance and we believe we have made the right choice with Evgeny and Bradley.", said Simon Holloway, RML's commercial director.

“We see an opportunity at RML to return to competition after evaluating the LMP3 category for quite some time. The ACO has done a very good job in putting in place a low cost formula that offers great racing for Pro and Am drivers.
