ELMS – Yvan Muller Racing confirms its LM P3 crews

Like last year on stage ELMS, Yvan Muller Racing will mix its continental entry in LM P3 with a Norma M30 and a Ligier JS P3.

The structure of the quadruple WTCC world champion will trust in 2018 a duo on the LM P3 of Onroak with Natan Bihel and Laurent Millara while the trio David Droux, Lucas Légeret and Nicolas Ferrer will compete on the Norma M30. Nicolas Ferrer will make his debut in the category after competing in the French Supertourism Championship.

“I approach this season with a lot of humility, admits the latter. I am very honored to have Yvan’s confidence after a test in the LM P3. Coming from a champion like him, this is something that I am very sensitive to, and I will try to do my best to live up to this confidence, while making myself available to the team.

My role will not be to be the fastest in the crew, but rather to place myself among the best Bronze drivers in the field and that is the objective that I set for myself.

The ELMS is a series that requires good physical condition, and I intend to take advantage of regular preparation over many years to be present in this aspect of my work as a driver. »

After taking second place in the Teams ranking in 2017, the Alsatian driver's team will try to aim for the title this season. “Last year we were in contention for the title until the last race, and we will aim for victory again this year, the objective being to place both cars in the top 5.” recognizes Yvan Muller.
