IDEC Sport favors continuity for the 2022 European season Le Mans Series (ELMS). This Wednesday, February 9, the French team presented its three drivers who will defend the colors in the LM P2 class on an Oreca 07. They will be the French Paul Lafargue, Paul-Loup Chatin and Patrick Pilet.
Nicolas Minassian, the Sports Director of the training based in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) explains this choice of security. “We optimized the team and remodeled certain work areas. The LMP2 category is very tough and the work on performance is becoming more and more detailed, we continue to iron out all the details. We have been carrying out a development program since the end of last season with tests coming soon.
In terms of drivers, we keep the same line-up, Paul Lafargue and Paul-Loup Chatin, who know each other very well, and Patrick Pilet, who is doing a second year with us. Three drivers who share the same sporting and human values. There is a good atmosphere and a real desire to perform. We know our weaknesses and our strengths. We want to try to tickle the best and get back on the podium. ".
