Imsa, the GTE-Am title in focus

Returning to battle, Nicolas Armindo and Raymond Narac subsequently scored three victories in a row, at Spa, Imola then Silverstone, facing competition reinforced by the ILMC competitors.

It is therefore as leader of the GTE-Am classification and with a lead of 10 points that the team will approach the closing round of the Le Mans Series, this weekend in Estoril in Portugal. “I want to finish the championship in style, underlines boss-pilot Raymond Narac. The circuit is difficult, there are very narrow sections. I played a VdeV final there in 2009 under halberds. This is my last memory of Estoril, an epic moment. It?s a route that I know well and that I appreciate. You need a very well balanced car to take advantage of the big parabolic curve that precedes the pit straight. »

His young teammate Nicolas Armindo could, for his part, win a title in his first season in Endurance. ?We will have to perform well, not let our guard down and work as we have done so far to obtain the title, continues the winner of the 2010 German Porsche Carrera Cup. An intermediate objective will be to win but it is the title that we are aiming for, it is up to us to ride intelligently. »

In GTE-Pro, the latest generation 997 GT3 RSR sporting the number 76 will, as usual, be entrusted to official Porsche drivers Patrick Pilet and Wolf Henzler. This time, it will not be about the title, but simply about shining to end the season in the best possible way.

Discover in your AUTOhebdo magazine, a portrait of Olivier Lombard, a young Frenchman who is shining in Endurance for his first season in LMP2.
