IMSA Performance: double program in LMS

The team IMSA Performance begins a new season in Le Mans Series ce week-end sur le circuit Paul Ricard par un double programme GTE en catégorie Pro et Am. Les troupes de Raymond Narac espèrent imposer leur Porsche in both categories.

The Normandy team will enter a first car in the GTE-Pro category entrusted to Wolf Henzler and Patrick Pilet. “We have the same feelings about the behavior of the car and the same driving style, enough to place us among the contenders for victory in GTE-Pro, explains Patrick Pilet. The level will be very high, and three official Porsche teams will not be too many to overcome the competition. This season promises to be very stimulating, even more so for me this year, since I will be taking part in my first test day at Le Mans with IMSA Performance Matmut. The opportunity to get your bearings and let go without the pressure and rush that you generally experience during the week of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. »

In GTE-Am, the IMSA Performance team is entering a 2010 model, which complies with the regulations for the category. The No. 67 will be driven by Raymond Narac and Nicolas Armindo. “Like any driver on the eve of an endurance season, I am impatient to do battle on the Castellet track, where we legitimately think we will start as favorites in the GTE category.
Am,
notes the team owner. The first tests in March demonstrated this, even if we were not able to exploit our full potential due to a few problems. In GTE-Pro the task promises to be more difficult but count on us to honor our new status as an official Porsche team in both GTE categories. »
