Twelve months ago, it was already at Spa-Francorchamps, on the sidelines of the Belgian meeting of theELMS, that the hydrogen-electric LMPH2G had made its first public rounds. A year later, the prototype which should foreshadow part of the future of motorsport, will make its debut on the same slide in the Ardennes as part of a race weekend.
The LMPH2G, operated by H24 Racing, will be entered during the Michelin free practice sessions Le Mans Cup, ELMS support series, on Friday September 20, and entrusted to the duo Norman Nato – Olivier Lombard.
Note that during these two free practice sessions, the LMPH2G will refuel at the first mobile hydrogen station dedicated to competition, developed by Total.
