Graff Racing on pole at Monza

Enzo Guibbert took pole at the 4h of Monza on the Oreca 07 of Graff Racing, narrowly beating that of Dragonspeed driven by Nicolas Lapierre.

Graff Racing on pole at Monza

Enzo Guibbert gave Graff Racing its first LMP2 pole at the end of qualifying.ELMS in Monza. With a time of 1’36”526, the Frenchman was a tenth ahead of his compatriot Nicolas lapierre who was at the wheel of the No. 07 Dragonspeed Oreca 21.

Elton Julian's team can still be satisfied with its performance since the No. 22 of G-Drive Racing, which it operates, completes the top three (dominated by the Oreca 07s) ahead of the Ligier JS P217s of United Autosports and Algarve Pro Racing driven by Filipe Albuquerque and Andrea Pizzitola.

The Panis-Barthez Compétition finished just outside the top ten with Timothé Buret in the Ligier JS P217 finishing behind that of Idec Sport Racing entrusted to Olivier Pla.

LMP3

On the LMP3 side, the M. Racing – YMR Norma M30 almost won pole. Ricky Capo was less than half a tenth behind the #3 United Autosports Ligier JS P3 driven by Wayne Boyd. The No. 2 of the American team, victorious at Silverstone, completes the second row with Sean Rayhall who lost behind Matthieu Lahaye at the wheel of the Ultimate Ligier JS P3. The Ligier JS P3 of M. Racing – YMR completes the top five with the performance of Alexandre Cougnaud who preceded David Droux (Duqueine Engineering) and Giorgio Mondini (Eurointernational).

GTE

Matt Griffin took pole in GTE by setting a time of 1:48 at the wheel of the Ferrari 488 n°55 de Spirit of Race. L’Irlandais a précédé de 4 dixièmes la Corvette C7-Z06 de Larbre Compétition emmenée par Fernando Rees. Matteo Cairoli a complété le tiercé de tête de la catégorie sur la Porsche 911 RSR 911 de Proton Competition. Nicki Thiim complète la deuxième ligne avec l’Aston Martin TF Sport Vantage victorious in its category at Silverstone.
