Krohn Racing on its way to the ELMS

The tests carried out by Krohn Racing on the American circuit of the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, on December 4 and 5, with the Ligier JS P2 from Onroak, powered by the Judd V8, seem to have given complete satisfaction to Tracy W. Krohn, owner-driver of the Krohn Racing team, who has aligned for several seasons a Ferrari 458 Italia, in WEC or in USC. The American team has confirmed that its 2015 program will target the five rounds of theELMS, with a start at Silverstone in England on April 10 and 11.

For Nic Jönsson, a long-time member of the team, the first feedback is very positive. “The car has huge potential and is already very fast, indicates the Swede. We have looked at different types of tires that we will race with at Daytona and Sebring and we will also run different tires in Europe this year. Everything went well during the two-day test at COTA and it shows that this is a top team with a top car. I hope we will be able to get the most out of this car with a little more testing before Daytona. »

Krohn Racing had already announced its intention to play in USC in 2015, with the 24 Hours of Daytona (January 24-25) and the 12 Hours of Sebring (March 21) on the program. A request for commitment to 24 Hours of Le Mans will also be filed.
