LMS: the Lola-Toyota Rebellion shines at Castellet

Already in the lead yesterday, Rebellion Racing is back at it again today. La Lola-Toyota n°12, entrusted to Neel Jani, Nicolas Cheers and Jeroen Bleekemolen, finished first in this second practice session in 1'47"928. The Swiss team ahead of the Zytek du Quifel-ASM Zytek of Miguel Amaral and Olivier Pla. Rebellion No. 13 completes the top three. The Pescarolo-Judd comes just behind. The Rebellion Racing team completes a great work session before flying to Sebring.

In the LMP2 category, the ORECA-Nissan from TDS Racing took the best time in 1'51"133, ahead of the ORECA-Judd from Race Performance. Pecom Racing is positioned in third position. A nice group shot for the ORECA chassis.

In LM P2, the teams having opted for the Oreca 03 chassis did not regret it since TDS Racing led in 1'51"133, ahead of Race Performance's Oreca-Judd. Pecom Racing, a new team in LM P2 and linked to AF Corse, had the third fastest time. After the mid-day break, Race Performance took the lead again (1'52"282) and accumulated laps, to the point of finishing the afternoon, despite the rain, with 48 covered laps.

Finally, the GT category was the scene of a great duel between the GTE Pro class and the GTE Am class. Team Farnbacher retained the lead. There Ferrari F430 n°89 finished the day in 2'00"492. Big surprise for Kessel Racing (LM GTE Am), the team manages to hold its own against the GTE Pro competitors.
