Inter Europol Competition makes a clean slate for the European Le Mans Series. The Polish team will be represented by a new trio for the 2023 season.ELMS, in the LM P2 category. The No. 07 Oreca 43 will be driven by Olli Caldwell, Jonathan Aberdein, and Rui Andrade in the European championship.

A brand new crew for Inter Europol Competition, which changed its initial plans since Jakub Śmiechowski was registered as the team's first driver for the ELMS. Finally, the Pole will not do a double program and will be content with his participation in WEC.

Inter Europol focuses on youth

Eighth in the ELMS championship in 2022, with a best result of 2nd place at Spa-Francorchamps, Inter Europol hopes to reach a milestone this season. Olli Caldwell enriches his program by Endurance alongside its commitment to Alpine in WEC. The young Briton will be able to rely on the experience of his two teammates. Jonathan Aberdein, ELMS vice-champion in 2021, is coming off a full year with Jota and a 3rd place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Rui Andrade finished 3rd in the WEC championship in the LM P2 category with the Realteam by WRT team last season, with a victory at the 6 Hours of Monza.

“I'm really looking forward to participating in the European Le Mans Series this season with Inter Europol Competition, rejoiced Olli Caldwell. Having made the transition to sports cars this year, combining the ELMS with my full season campaign in the World Endurance Championship gives me the opportunity to gain plenty of experience for my first season complete in LM P2. I can't wait to start working with the team, which has proven that it is capable of winning races, and I am confident that we can continue this momentum this season, fighting for the ELMS title. »

The Polish team will also field a Ligier JS P320 in the LM P3 category. The No. 13 car, so close to the title last year, will be driven by Miguel Cristovao, Wyatt Brichacek and Kai Askey. Both yellow and green mounts will take to the track during pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona on April 20, followed by the opening Barcelona round on April 23.
