RAM Racing: New endurance team

RAM Racing will make its competitive debut next year by entering various endurance events. The British team, which will run Ferrari 458 Italia, will notably be present at the 24 Hours of Dubai and intends to make its mark by entering two cars in ELMS. This Championship corresponds “to the objectives developed for this first year in relation to the calendar, the length of the races and the competition”, explains the English team which ultimately aims for a commitment in WEC.

In order to ensure a successful future, Dan Shufflebottom has surrounded himself with around fifteen full-time employees, including Kevin Poole, the operations director who has worked on British and American GT disciplines, and the technical director Mark Schomann who has already proven himself within Risi Competizione and Luxury Racing. Johnny Mowlem has already signed with RAM Racing. After participating in 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and several ALMS seasons, the 43-year-old Briton will also bring his experience while waiting for the full list to be revealed.

“Our goal is to surprise with our results because otherwise we would disappoint people from the outside.”, comments Dan Shufflebottom. “We look forward to the challenge ahead of us. We have prepared our work very meticulously in advance in order to represent one of the most beautiful GT cars in racing, the Ferrari 458. The 24 Hours of Dubai will serve as the first international event for our team and we will already be on pace when the ELMS starts in April. »
