THEELMS also announced the postponement of several events due to the coronavirus. Thus, the 4 Hours of Barcelona scheduled for April 4 and 5 and the 4 Hours of Monza scheduled for May 9 and 10 have been postponed.
Due to the escalation of the Covid-19 (coronavirus), and following consultation with the local authorities and the staff at the @Circuitcat_eng and @Autodromo_Monza, the decision has been taken to postpone the first two rounds of the season. #ELMS pic.twitter.com/BzImqpkvEt

“This decision was not easy to make and is the most appropriate, we had no other choice but to postpone our events given the current context. Our priority is to guarantee the health of our teams, paddock members and our fans. We are working on a modified schedule that we will be able to communicate in a few days”, commented the general director of the ELMS Gérard Neveu.
The next ELMS meeting is scheduled for July 19 in Castellet (Var). Unlike other championships, the low number of races in the European Endurance Championship could make it easier to postpone the Spanish and Italian events.
