Road to Le Mans-C2: DKR Engineering makes it happen

The double pole position obtained in qualifying was finally converted this Saturday for Jean Glorieux and Alexander Toril, residents of the No. 30 Norma M3 of DKR Engineering.

Jean Glorieux controlled the first part of the event before falling back to 4th just before the driver changes, thus offering the leadership to Thursday's winner John Falb, associated with Sean Rayhall in the no. 3 United Autosports Ligier JS P2 .

If Falb, Glorieux and Dons (Ligier JS P3 n°87 RLR MSport) return to the pits at the end of the 4th lap, Lucas Légeret, entered in the Ligier JS P3 n°11 Duqueine Engineering) continues his effort, as does Antonin Borga (Ligier JS P3 n°10 Duqueine Engineering). The two cars from the Gard structure finally stopped a few minutes later.

Toril concludes in style

After the driver changes, Alexander Toril will regain command with the No. 30 Norma M3 and widen the gap on his closest pursuer Sean Rayhall, before winning with a 17″ lead under the checkered flag. Colin Noble and Anthony Wells (No. 3 Nielsen Racing Ligier JS P79), once in contention for the podium, were unable to finish the race after Nobel spun at the very end of the race after the corner. Tertre Rouge. Yann Ehrlacher and Erwin Creed (Norma M30 no. 19 Muller Racing) complete the LM P3 and overall podium after taking the advantage over the No. 3 Graff Racing Ligier JS P65 of Chila – Carde.

IMSA close to success, Aston Martin double the bet

The start of the race in GT3 saw the domination of the No. 12 TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage V97 of Ahmad Al-Harthy, who started from pole, but it was IMSA Performance and the Porsche 911 GT3 R n°76 from the Narac – Cornac tandem which seemed able to win this second confrontation.

Starting second behind the British GT3 after the driver changes, Narac took control of the race, but a 3″ stop&go penalty for not respecting the time limit when passing through the pits hit the Porsche from Rouen.

Tom Jackson didn't ask for that much and took the opportunity to pick up a second success in two races for TF Sport. There McLaren 650S GT3 n°24 Garage 59 from Tappy – Benham and the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 n°8 SVC Sport Management from Mézard – Hiesse completed the podium.
