Sacha Bottemanne was one of the drivers who discovered driving an LMP2 this week with Sébastien Loeb Racing. Alongside Kévin Estre, Jean-Karl Vernay, Oliver Webb and Andi Zuber, the 24-year-old Parisian took the wheel of the Oreca 03 on the Navarra circuit. Until now, the Frenchman had only distinguished himself in the Seat Leon Supercopa and the Carrera Cup France where he played two seasons with the Alsatian team.
“The approach was not easy for me because I have just completed two years of piloting in Porsche Carrera Cup, with more violent driving and a balance of the car that has nothing to do with a prototype », explained Sacha Bottemanne, whose program for next year is still unclear. “We worked without pressure and I focused on optimizing my braking attack and my acceleration out of corners. I really enjoyed this type of driving, and the work possible on the car. »
