Tereschenko joins Panis-Barthez Competition

The crew of the No. 217 Ligier JS P24 is taking shape at Panis-Barthez Compétition. After Timothé Buret, the French team has confirmed the presence of Konstantin Tereschenko. The former champion of F3 Spanish evolved into car, including the GP3 Series, until last year. The 24-year-old Russian made his debut in Endurance by disputing theELMS with the AVF by Adrian Vallés team on a Dallara P217.

“I am delighted to begin a collaboration with the Panis-Barthez Compétition team., comments the new recruit. Since the test I carried out for them in Portimao (Portugal), I dreamed of being able to work over time with people of such quality. It’s another world for me, a truly higher level of professionalism. Achieving it is a golden opportunity. I will be able to progress, learn, and become a better driver. I hope to score points in every race, not make any mistakes and get on a podium. »

He is a complete driver who has shown great things in recent years in different categories such as the GP3 Series and the World Series Formula V8 3.5. Last year for his first season in ELMS, he proved that he had good top speed in LMP2 in a Dallara. At the end of the last event at Portimao, we decided to test it on the Ligier and were satisfied with its performance, despite difficult weather conditions and a completely wet track. There is no doubt that we can expect great cohesion between him and Timothé (Buret) who knows the team well. »

The ELMS will begin with collective testing organized on the Paul-Ricard in Castellet (Var) on April 8 and 9.
