TF Sport returns to ELMS for 2021

For the first time since 2017, the TF Sport team will enter the European Le Mans Series (ELMS). The English team will indeed field a Aston Martin Vantage in GTE class for Ross Gunn, Ollie Hancock and John Hartshorne.

With the naturally aspirated Vantage V8, TF Sport had at the time collected five podiums and a victory on the way to a runner-up rank. This time, the goal will be the top step according to owner Tom Ferrier.

“It will be a challenge but I think we are more than capable of it. After racing against Ross last year in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), I am delighted to have him in our ranks in 2021”he says.

Aston Martin official driver Ross Gunn (24 years old) will have to support the progress of Bronze driver John Hartshorne (63 years old) and Silver Ollie Hancock (33 years old), accustomed to the Asian Le Mans Series (Asian LMS). “Participating in the ELMS is a further step in John’s project, which is to race at Le Mans, for a British brand, confirms Ollie Hancock.

It's been 11 years since he last came to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, some things have changed since then! But I have no worries that TF Sport will help him get into the rhythm. »

The start of the ELMS season is set for Barcelona (Spain) on April 18.
