United Autosports will once again double its involvement in ELMS in 2019 with a second Ligier JS P217 LM P2 entrusted to the duo Alex Brundle – Ryan Cullen.
After the Filipe Albuquerque – Phil Hanson tandem, United Autosports will put its trust in Brundle, regularly seen within Zak Brown's structure since 2016, both in LM P3 and LM P2, and Cullen, who will start within the team , with a class victory in LM P2 at the last 24 Hours of Daytona on the Oreca 07 – DragonSpeed.
Cullen has already been able to carry out tests with United Autosports on the Catalan track in Barcelona. The team is also awaiting confirmation of its presence at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 15-16), with its two hoped-for Ligier JS P217s.
With this in mind, the identity of the third drivers should be made official in the coming days.
