A new look for IDEC Sport. The French team is starting the 2023 season with something new, and not the least: brand new premises near the Paul-Ricard circuit, in Signes (Var), with a 3500m2 workshop including offices, a storage area as well as a gym and a simulator.
Previously located in Fontenay-Trésigny (Seine-et-Marne), these new premises represent “a new impetus for the team” according to Nicolas Minassian, Team Principal of IDEC Sport. “We benefit from superb premises built by the IDEC Group. We really took the time to design them to answer all the problems of a racing team. It's motivating for everyone. It shows IDEC Sport's desire to continue to grow and become stronger. We have a lot more space and right next to Paul-Ricard. Logistically it is also a good thing since it is a strategic location and the entire activity zone is developed around motorsport. »

On the sporting side, IDEC Sport will go on the attack again with a car in LM P2 and one in Michelin Le Mans Cup. “We are starting again on the same bases as previous seasons. (…) We obviously have the 24 Hours of Le Mans in focus for the 100th anniversary. This will be an edition not to be missed,” explains the stable director.
Chatin and Lafargue reappointed to IDEC, Hörr arrives in ELMS
In the European Le Mans Series, the French team is retaining two of its 2022 drivers, with the presence of Paul-Loup Chatin and Paul Lafargue. The third man will be the German Laurents Hörr, twice winner of the Michelin Le Mans Cup (2019 and 2020) and present at the 24 2022 Hours of Le Mans in LM P2. “It’s a great opportunity to have him with us. We have been working with him for several years in the paddock. We know its speed. He loves racing and he is happy to join us for this season, underlined Nicolas Minassian. We keep our Paul/Paul-Loup duo which works very well, whether on or off the track. We can only be happy with this line-up. »
Aboard the LM P3 for the Michelin Le Mans Cup, Patrice Lafargue and Dino Lunardi will continue their collaboration on the number 320 Ligier JS P17.
