Victory and title for United Autosports at Monza

It was finally at the first corner or almost that everything was decided, when Alexandre Cougnaud (Oreca 07 n°39 du Graff) went to hit Roman Rusinov. Stuck on a banana, the Aurus 01 n°26 of G-Drive Racing suffered irremediable consequences which, after a first passage through its box for a change of radiators, forced it to abandon.

The game was therefore too easy for United Autosports, a team that only G-Drive Racing can hope to threaten on a regular basis. Despite passing through Phil Hanson's gravel trap on the first lap, the No. 07 Oreca 22 offered the British team its fourth victory in a row in as many races contested this season, the third for the Filipe Albuquerque-Phil duo. Hanson, who takes the crown before the same final, scheduled for Portimão (November 1). 

The Portuguese and his British sidekick won their third title in the space of three weeks, after having scored a double blow in Sarthe on September 20, namely victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and title in WEC.

As if that wasn't enough, the team of the Richard Dean-Zak Brown duo scored a double thanks to the No. 32 of Job van Uitert-Alex Brundle-Will Owen, while DragonSpeed ​​took the third step of the podium with his Henrik Hedman-Ben Hanley-Charles Milesi trio, who competed in their first race in ELMS*.

The top five is completed by High Class Racing (Anders Fjordbach-Dennis Andersen) and Cool Racing (Antonin Borga-Alexandre Coigny-Nicolas lapierre).

In LM P3, victory for the No. 320 Inter Europol Competition Ligier JS P13 driven by Dino Lunardi-Martin Hippe. The Franco-British pair finished ahead of two other Ligiers, the No. 11 of Eurointernational (Niko Kari-Nicolas Maulini-Jacopo Baratto) and the No. 2 of United Autosports (Wayne Boyd-Tom Gamble-Robert Wheldon). . 

Machine, in GTE, it’s the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo n°74 du Kessel Racing qui s’est imposée grâce à David Perel-Nico Cadei-Michael Broniszewski. Suivent la Porsche 911 RSR n°77 du Proton Competition (Alessio Picariello-Michele Beretta-Christian Ried) et la Ferrari 488 GTE Evo n°83 d’Iron Lynx (Rahel Frey-Michelle Gatting-Manuela Gostner).
