It wasn't easy with the red flag (following Fabio Scherer's exit from the track. Editor's note). Fortunately, I had a good lap and the team gave me a very good car to perform in. We were close in the last race in Barcelona, ​​this time it's the right one. It's great for the team. I can't wait to see how the race goes tomorrow. Conditions will be very changeable. This is going to be interesting.

The team has not yet managed to win in ELMS This year. What did COOL Racing lack to win this season?

We showed that we have speed. We were leading at the end of the race at Imola, but we lost the race due to a Full Course Yellow. We have shown that we are capable of winning, we have lacked a bit of luck so far. We have a good chance tomorrow (Sunday) starting from pole position. We will try to keep our place until the end.

This day was a great success for COOL Racing since Malthe Jakobsen also took pole position in LM P3…
