The second Free Practice session for the 4 Hours of Portimão took place this Saturday, October 23 at 8:30 a.m. Portuguese time. The best time was signed by Nicolas Jamin at the wheel of the Oreca 07 – Gibson number 32 of United Autosports (with Job van Uitert and Manuel Maldonado) in 1:36.219 ahead of the IDEC Sport number 28 (Paul Lafargue, Paul Loup Chatin , Patrick Piçet) at 0.393 and G-Drive number 25 (John Falb, Rui Andrade, Gustavo Menezes) at 0.423.
The English team also set the best time in LM P3 with the number 2 (Wayne Boyd, Robert Wheldon, Edouard Cauhaupe) in 1:44.399 ahead of the Duqueine M30 – D08 – Nissan of DKR Engineering (Laurents Hörr, Mathieu de Barbuat) in 1:37.014 and the Ligier JS P320 – Nissan number 13 of Inter Europol Competition (Martin Hippe, Ugo de Wilde, Adam Eteki) in 1:37.056.
In LM GTE, the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo numéro 80 d’Iron Lynx (Matteo Cressoni, Rino Matsronardi, Miguel Molina) s’est positionnée en haut du classement avec un chrono en 1:40.177 devant la Porsche 911 RSR – 19 numéro 77 de Proton Competition (Christian Ried, Cooper MacNeil, Gianmaria Bruni) en 1:40.284 et la Ferrai 488 GTE Evo numéro 83 des Iron Dames (Rahel Frey, Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting) en 1:40.325.
