David Cheng has decided to launch his own team, DC Racing, with the aim of winning an invitation to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in LMP2. The two-time reigning champion of the Asian Le Mans Series with Oak Racing will enter a Ligier JS P3 which he will share with his compatriot Ho-Pin Tung and a third driver to be confirmed. Rémy Brouard, formerly of Oak Racing after having been general director of the ACO, will occupy the position of Team Manager.
