The Oreca 03R entrusted to the duo Sean Gelael – Antonio Giovinazzi set the best time in the two free practice sessions for the 3 Hours of Buriram in Thailand, the third event of the Asian Le Mans Series 2015-2016. With a reference time established in 1'27″156 during the first session, Gelael – Giovinazzi preceded the Algarve Pro Racing Ligier JS P2 of Munemann – Koutsoumidis – Winslow, best time in EL2.
In the GT category, the Absolute Racing Audi R8 of Lee – Picariello – Fong was the fastest overall over the two sessions in 1'34″104.
