Ho-Pin Tung set the fastest time in the Asian final trials Le Mans Series at Sepang, with a lap completed in 1'58"667 at the wheel of the Oak Racing Morgan-Judd. James Winslow brought the Oreca 03-Nissan to just over a second off the benchmark during the second session.
Jonathan Venter achieved a time of 2'05"260 in the Craft-Bamboo Racing Ligier JS 53 Evo. The BMW Z4s of Team AAI led by Marco Seefried and Jun San Chen were the closest, around a second behind the Ligier.
