Race Performance clinches Asian LMP2 title Le Mans Series at the end of the 3 Hours of Sepang (Malaysia) won by Antonio Giovinazzi and Sean Gelael in the No. 03 Oreca 9R. The Swiss team also won the Drivers' title with Niki Leutwiler who played alongside Oliver Webb and finished 1'43 behind the victorious car. The Algarve Pro Racing Ligier JS P2 which started from pole completes the podium.
The DC Racing Ligier JS P3 driven by Tung-Cheng-Laurent won in the LMP3 category against the Adess 03 of Team AAI which encountered various problems.
The Absolute Racing Audi R8 LMS of Lee-Picariello-Mies won in GT with a one-lap lead over the No. 4 BMW Z3 GT91 of Team AAI. There McLaren 650S GT3 No. 3 from Clearwater Racing of Bell-Sawa-Sun completed the podium in the category and won the Drivers and Teams titles despite a puncture at the end of the race.
