Christian England will replace Wayne Boyd at United Autosports in Michelin Le Mans Cup. If the category is intended to allow beginner drivers to progress in ELMS, it's the opposite path that the 36-year-old Briton is taking since he won the LMP3 category crown last year with the team of Zak Brown and Richard Dean.

“I am delighted to return to racing with United Autosports supporting Richard Meins, commented Christian England. It feels like it's been a lifetime since my last run. The Michelin Le Mans Cup looks really promising in terms of numbers and quality of competition. I am delighted to drive a car with the Gulf livery, a brand so famous in motorsport. »

United Autosports will have a busy schedule at ELMS meetings as it will field two Ligier JS P217s and three JS P3s in the European Championship, in addition to three other LMP3s in the Michelin Le Mans Cup.
