DKR winner in Michelin Le Mans Cup

DKR Engineering scored its second victory in a row after Road to Le Mans by winning the Michelin Le Mans Cup event at Red Bull Ring (Austria) with the Norma M30 of Jean Glorieux and Alexander Toril. The Belgian quickly took the lead in the race against pole sitter Alvaro Fontes, whose SPV Motorsport Ligier JS P3 only took fifth place.

Anthony Wells and Colin Noble took second place in the No. 3 Nielsen Racing Ligier JS P79 while Graff Racing completed the podium with the No. 65 of Adrien Chila and Emilien Carde who took advantage of the stop & go inflicted on Ross Warburton on the RLR M Sport Ligier for an error in the pits.

 

 

Ebimotors won in GT3 with the Lamborghini Huracan of poleman Emanuele Busnelli and Fabio Babini who regained the lead in the category following the abandonment of the Mercedes Ram Racing's AMG GT3 driven by Tom Onslow Cole and Remon Vos. The Dutchman probably retired following contact at the first corner with the Ligier JS P3 of Ibran Pardo Javier which was driven by Mathijs Bakker, Javier Ibran's teammate.

La Ferrari Spirit of Race's No. 458 F95 Italia of Maurizio Mediani and Christoph Ulrich took second place in the category, taking advantage of a stop & go inflicted on the Optimum Racing Audi R8 LMS of Flick Haigh and Joe Osborne who finally completes the category podium.
