Second in the general classification, nine points behind G-Drive Racing following its victory at the 4 Hours of Silverstone, IDEC Sport experienced a big setback this morning.
Then fourth in the second free practice session for the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, penultimate round of theELMS, Paul Loup Chatin went to hit the tires at the top of Raidillon. An outing very similar to the accident of Job van Uitert (Aurus 01 n°26 of G-Drive Racing) on Wednesday.
The Frenchman extracted himself from the badly damaged Oreca 07 n°48. Qualifying – scheduled for 13:02 p.m. for the LM P2 – is more than compromised for the French entity. Hoping that she finds a solution to be at the start tomorrow at 12:30 p.m.
