It was on a wet track that the first free practice session for the British round of the European was held this morning. Le Mans Series 2013. Driving theAlpine A450 entered by Philippe Sinault's team, Nelson Panciatici achieved the best time. The Frenchman completed a lap of the track in 2'06"179, ahead of the Oreca 03-Nissan Thiriet by TDS Racing of Jonathan Hirschi-Pierre Thiriet and the Morgan-Judd Morand Racing of Franck Mailleux-Natacha Gachnang by almost four seconds. .

In fourth place, we find the Oreca 09 FLM n°49 of the Team Endurance Challenge entrusted to Gary Hirch and Paul Loup Chatin (2'14"582), the fastest of the LM PCs.

The GTE and GTC categories were respectively dominated by the Ferrari 458 Italia Ram Racing of Matt Griffin (2'17"756) and the Audi R8 LMS Momo Megatron DF1 of Kuba Giermaziak (2'21"283). As the track dried out, the best timed laps were, for the most part, signed in the final seconds.
