Nicolas lapierre set the best time in the first free practice session of theELMS at the 4 Hours of Paul-Ricard (Var) by completing a lap of the Castellet circuit in 1'48''475. The driver of the Dragonspeed Oreca 05 was more than a tenth ahead of the No. 46 Thiriet by TDS Racing led by Mathias Beche.
Nathanaël Berthon lifted the Greaves Motorsport Ligier JS P2 to four tenths of the benchmark ahead of the G-Drive Racing Gibson 015S driven by Giedo van der Garde and the Panis-Barthez Compétition Ligier JS P2 entrusted to Paul-Loup Chatin.
In LMP3, it was Nigel Moore who took the No. 26 from Tockwith Motorsports to first place in the category with a time of 1'54''669.
