Nicolas lapierre set the best time in the first practice session for the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) by completing a lap in 2'08''629 on the Dragonspeed Oreca 05. The Frenchman was less than a tenth ahead of the BR01 n°32 of SMP racing entrusted to Stefano Coletti, while Olivier Pla set the third time two tenths behind in the Ligier JS P2 of Krohn Racing ahead of the Oreca 05 of Thiriet by TDS Racing by Pierre Thiriet.
Alex Brundle was once again the fastest in LMP3 with a time of 2:15 in the #517 United Autosports car. In GTE, it was Alessandro Pier Guidi who set the benchmark with a time of 2'2''19 achieved at the wheel of the Ferrari F458 n°56 from AT Racing.
