THEAlpine A450b-Nissan n°36 of the Panciatici-Webb-Chatin trio set the best time in the first free practice session of the 4 Hours of Paul-Ricard, penultimate round of the European Le Mans Series. Panciatici was ahead of the #0 Ligier JS P203-Nissan of Thiriet by TDS Racing entrusted to Badey-Thiriet-Gommendy by 2”36 and the Morgan-Judd of Newblood by Morand Racing by 0”392, at the wheel of which we find the Klien-Hirsch-Ragues crew. The top 5 is completed by the Oreca 03-Nissan Murphy Prototypes of Berthon-Derani-Gonzalez and the Zytek Z11SN-Nissan Greaves Motorsport of Bacheta-Schulzhitskiy.
La Ferrari 458 Italia n°55 fielded by AF Corse for Cameron-Griffin-Rugolo (1'57"323) stood out in GTE and the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 n°71 of SMP Racing of Ladygin-Basov-Persiani (1 '59 »140) did the same in GTC.
The second free practice session will take place this afternoon between 15 p.m. and 16:30 p.m.
