The first free practice session for the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring in Austria saw the domination of the Gibson 015S – Nissan from the Jota Sport team, entrusted to the trio Simon Dolan – Filipe Albuquerque – Harry Tincknell. With a best lap completed in 1'23″538, the crew is ahead of the other Gibson 015S – Nissan from Greaves Motorsport of Gary Hirsch – Björn Wirdheim – Jon Lancaster.
The Oreca 05 of Thiriet by TDS Racing from Thiriet – Gommendy – Badey ranks third.
In LM P3, the best time went to the Ginetta-Nissan of Team LNT from Hoy – Robertson, while in GTE, AF Corse with the Ferrari 458 Italia n°51 from Mann – Gianmmaria – Cressoni placed itself at the forefront. The GTC category saw the TDS Racing BMW Z4 GT3 of Lunardi – Perera – Dermont set the best time.
