The Oreca 03-Nissan n°18 of Murphy Prototypes entrusted to Brendon Hartley and Jonathan Hirschi set the best time in the second free practice session for the 3 Hours of Le Castellet, the final round of the European Le Mans Series. Thanks to a time of 1'49"088, the Irish team beat the Oreca 03-Nissan n°1 of Thiriet by TDS Racing of the duo Mathias Beche-Pierre Thiriet, credited with a time of 1'49"617 . In third place, in 1'49"665, we find the Zytek Z11SN-Nissan n°38 Jota Sport of Simon Dolan and Oliver Turvey. Candidate for the crown, theAlpine A450 n°36 of the Pierre Ragues-Nelson Panciatici duo is fourth in 1'50"065.
Second this morning, the No. 09 Oreca 48 FLM of the Soheil Ayari-Anthony Pons pair took the lead in LM PC, while in GTE it was Ferrari 458 Italia n°52 from Ram Racing which stood out in 1'56"847 thanks to Matt Griffin and Johnny Mowlem. The No. 458 SMP Racing Ferrari 3 Italia GT69 set the best time in the GTC in 1'58"843.
